Paintings and Drawings
by Warren Hurley
From a very early age I knew I could draw.
Art quickly became a major force in my life. When
I started painting, I liked it so much I
couldn't stop. I always have a painting that I am working on.
After attending the State University of
New York at New Paltz and New York
University, I taught others how to draw and
paint for more than three decades.
I
taught in Edinburgh, Scotland as a
Fulbright Fellow. My work has been exhibited in New York and Europe.
I really like painting winter scenes. I love painting snow
and ice melting on a small pond or stream. This is a a local
brook I saw one morning at the end of last winter. It looks like
a pond because some beavers made a dam down stream that has
backed up the water. |
